What is it like to use an online dating service
such as Match.com?
When you first become a member of Match.com, you will be asked to write a brief profile. You will fill out a brief online questionairre dealing with your likes and your dislikes, how you prefer to spend a weekend night, what your perfect vacation would be, etc. Questions like this in your profile is what makes Match.com so great. Someone will get in contact with you because they have read your profile and think that they are compatible with you. Do you realize how much time this has saved already? If you stumble across someone in public, a bar, or a grocery store, what are the chances that they will enjoy all of the same things that you do. Unfortunately, if you have the nerve to actually approach someone in public and ask them out, chances are that in a few dates, you will realize that you are not compatible. Maybe you will make another friend out of the situation, but that's not the goal is it? Match.com saves you weeks of wasted time. Now, I'm not suggesting that every person you will come in contact through Match.com will be a perfect match. But, your chances are much, much better using Match.com than the random chance of meeting someone in public!!!
