Ingredients for a Great Homemade Salsa
Prepare all salsa ingredients and place in a large bowl and mix well. It's ready to eat! The salsa is delicious immediately, but it's even better after sitting overnight in the fridge. You will have the best results if you use very fresh products. I have had the best results when I use Contadina crushed tomatoes, they have a great texture. Ingredients for Homemade Corn Tortilla Chips
For the chips: Place a little olive oil on the cut corn tortillas. Sprinkle a mix (approx 6tsp:1tsp:1tsp or adjust to your own liking) of Chili Powder, Salt, and Sugar on top of the chips while they are laying on the baking pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes, rotate the baking pan and bake for another 6 minutes or until almost dark brown (not burned). |
